Join Elena Ulev with Blue Heron Nature Tours for a morning of birding at Teller Wildlife Refuge on Sunday, November 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We will be hiking near the river and looking for birds including waterfowl, kingfishers, and mixed flocks of chickadees, nuthatches, kinglets, and woodpeckers. The Northern Shrikes, American Tree Sparrows and Rough-legged Hawks are currently arriving from the north, so we may see them too. In addition to birding, we will also talk about the trees, shrubs, and forbs in the area and how they are used by birds and other wildlife.

Meet at the barn at 258 Quast Lane in Corvallis and make sure to wear good hiking shoes and layers of clothing. Extra binoculars are available for those that need them.
