Volunteers from Bitterroot Audubon will be seeding wildflowers on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd., 10 am. A team of hardy volunteers have done a great job of weeding and prepping the soil three different times on the bench and down at the swale. Now it is time to seed. We'd love you to come and help if you can. We have prepared drought resistant, native wildflowers that are perfect to be sown in the late fall and even in the winter on top of snow. You get to choose the flower you want and then that depends on where you'll need to go: moist and shaded area, or dry and rocky area, etc. I'll give you a labeled bag with the seed and sand. This should be quite a fantastic start to a stunning pollinator and bird friendly park.
If you’d like to help, please contact Becky Peters (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with the subject line: seeding. She will send you more detailed information.
